Library - subscribed databases

The following databases can be full accessed from the IP domain of the Institute. The electronic information sources accessible via subscription may contain open access materials, freely accessible to all Internet users.



Bibliographic databases
The purpose of bibliographic citation databases is to register links between publications. Besides bibliographic data, bibliometric data are included. Many bibliographic databases provide the full-text links of the indexed contents.

Information: Web of Science (previously known as Web of Knowledge) is an online scientific citation indexing service originally produced by the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI), now maintained by Clarivate Analytics (previously Thomson Reuters), that provides a comprehensive citation search. It gives access to multiple databases that reference cross-disciplinary research, which allows for in-depth exploration of specialized sub-fields within an academic or scientific discipline.


Fulltext databases
Fulltext databases provide access to full text of indexed books, book chapters and journal articles for online viewing, printing, or downloading.

Currently over 250,000 articles on ScienceDirect are open access.
