Important informations

May we call the attention of our readers that in an endevour to meet contemporary demand, starting with 2009 the volumes of the quarterly of the Geographical Research Institute Hungarian Academy of Sciences (formerly Földrajzi Értesítő/Geographical Bulletin) are to be published in English as Hungarian Geographical Bulletin (in printed form and on-line on this site). 

This new form of the journal involves changes in requirements to the manuscripts to be submitted for publication (see the link Call for Papers below). Colour maps, figures and photos are also welcomed and will be printed in our old-new periodical.

We strongly hope that in an effort to support our discipline an increasing number of contributions will be sent in by the geographers from Hungary and abroad.
