Laboratory for Sediment and Soil Analysis (SEDILAB) HUN-REN Research Centre for Astronomy and Earth Sciences, Geographical Institute

The SEDILAB is the website of the Laboratory for Sediement and Soil Analysis (SEDILAB) and the Research Group for Physical Geography. The Laboratory is also an infrastructure of the Research Group on Quaternary and Landscape Evolution Processes, but of course it is freely available for all research groups of the HUN-REN CSFK.

The HUN-REN CSFK Geographical Institute Laboratory for Sediment and Soil Analysis (SEDILAB) is the successor of the laboratory of the same name of the predecessor MTA Geographical Research Institute. The predecessor laboratory ceased to exist as a separate the last decade of the 20th century. The SEDILAB was re-established in 2004.

The units of SEDILAB are infrastructural units and there is no functional separation in their operation.

SEDILAB is operated and maintained by six colleagues.
